This charming Grist Mill was inspired by the Glade Creek Grist Mill in Babcock State Park in West Virginia. It seems only fitting that the mill be created in cloth since it was used in the 1800s for fulling wool cloth, dyeing, spinning, weaving and milling grain.
Special Feature of the Grist Mill pattern!! - The windows, door, railing, bridge and mill wheel images are included in the pattern and can be photocopied to photo transfer paper and transferred to your fabric. Or, if you prefer, you can download the Adobe Acrobat PDF files for these images and print your images directly to treated fabric or an iron-on transfer sheet. Download the PDF files using the Bonus Files links at the bottom of this page. Each file is set up as an 8 1/2 x 11 page.
