We are providing both a 6 1/2 inch and a 7 1/2 inch block pattern. We recommend that you use the 7 1/2 inch pattern. If the 7 1/2 inch block does not print on a single page on your printer, use the 6 1/2 inch pattern instead. The file is in the PDF format so you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to open and print the file. We've found that this format prints more reliably to a single sheet of paper (for both PC and Macintosh computers) than a standard web page. If you would like to work with an even larger block size, you have our permission to take the printed pattern to a copy machine and enlarge it (for your personal use only). Use the chart below to determine the % of enlargement required to create an 8", 10" or 12" block depending upon which size pattern you are enlarging. |
