Simply Roses

This design was inspired by a border print on a commerical fabric. I loved the way the rose vine waved and decided that it would look really nice with a feathered quilting pattern incorporated in the blank space. This quilt relies on the quilting just as much as the piecing to create interest. Talented quilter Denise Green brought the quilting concept to life. This is one of my favorite tradtional quilts. ALL Picture Pieced. No applique. Only handwork is the rose stems which are embroidery.
