Estelle Hughes

Lighthouse

Estelle enlarged Cynthia's Lighthouse pattern so that her finished quilt size is 48" x 42" (with the borders) because she wanted it to be bigger to hang over her queen size bed. She also added an outside border using a "wood print". After constructing the top, Estelle sewed it to pre-quilted white fabric, outlining the major elements of the quilt.
